The Reformed Northbound Necklace pairs a rectangular 12 × 27mm crushed natural turquoise pendant with a full strand of natural turquoise beads. The blue-green tones give the piece a strong, understated presence, while the crushed pendant brings something rougher into the mix.

The pendant is made from turquoise that was damaged or no longer usable in its original form. Broken down and reworked by hand, it becomes the focal point of a necklace built around movement.

Turquoise is traditionally associated with protection, travel and connection to the natural world. Those associations feel right for Northbound: a piece about leaving familiar ground, following your own direction and seeing what’s further up the road.
