We believe the materials used are just as important as the story behind each piece. We work primarily with carefully selected materials chosen for their character, quality, and connection to the design.

Transparency matters to us. We are always honest about the materials used in our jewellery, and a full materials list can be found in each product description so you know exactly what you're wearing.

As many of our pieces feature natural stones and pearls, variations in colour, pattern, and texture are to be expected. These natural differences are what make each piece uniquely yours.

Yes. Every Stonehaus piece is carefully handcrafted, meaning no two are ever exactly alike. Unlike factory-made jewellery, each piece carries its own unique character, shaped by the natural materials and the hands that made it.

Slight variations in colour, texture, shape, and natural stone patterns are to be expected. These are not considered defects, but a reflection of the handmade process and the individuality of each piece. We believe the things with the most soul were never meant to look exactly the same.

We're always looking for thoughtful ways to reduce waste and make more considered choices throughout Stonehaus. Wherever possible, we choose packaging that can be reused, repurposed, or recycled.

Every order is carefully packed in a reusable metal case and linen jewellery pouch, along with a thank-you card. Our packaging is designed not only to protect your jewellery during its journey to you, but to continue protecting it long after. Whether you're storing your pieces at home or travelling, the metal case and pouch are made to be used again and again.

We hope you'll continue their story by reusing or responsibly recycling the packaging, helping us take small but meaningful steps towards a more thoughtful way of creating.

Are Ring Size Conversions Exact?

Ring size conversions are close approximations, not perfect one-to-one matches. US, UK, European, and Japanese ring sizing systems use different labels and slightly different increments, so a converted size may be off by a small amount.

In most cases, the difference is minor enough that the closest converted size will fit comfortably. But if you are between sizes, ordering a wide band, or choosing a made-to-order ring, it is better to rely on the inside diameter or inside circumference in millimeters instead of the regional size label alone.

If you are unsure after converting your size, choose the closest size based on the ring style. Narrow bands are more forgiving, while wide bands and kinetic rings may need extra fit consideration.

For the most accurate fit, I recommend visiting a local jewellery store to have your ring size measured. Most jewellers offer this service free of charge, and it only takes a few minutes.

If you're unable to visit a jeweller, you can easily measure your ring size at home using one of the methods below.

Option 1: Measure with String or Paper

Wrap a piece of string, or a strip of paper around the base of your finger.
Mark where the ends overlap.
Measure the length in millimetres using a ruler.
Compare your measurement with a ring size chart to find your size.

*Tip: Don't pull the string too tightly—it should sit comfortably around your finger.

Option 2: Measure a Ring You Already Own

If you have a ring that fits well:

Place it on a printable ring size chart.
Match the inside edge of the ring to the closest circle on the chart.

Option 3: Use a Ring Sizer

A reusable ring sizer is one of the most accurate ways to measure at home. They are inexpensive and available online, either as an adjustable measuring strip or a set of sizing rings.

A well-fitting ring should slide over your knuckle with slight resistance and sit comfortably at the base of your finger. It should feel secure enough that it won't fall off, but not so tight that it's uncomfortable or difficult to remove.

Spins freely around your finger.
Slides off easily when you shake your hand or turn it upside down.
Feels unstable during everyday wear.

Difficult to slide over your knuckle.
Leaves deep marks or indentations after removal.
Causes discomfort, swelling, or restricts circulation.

Why your ring size may change

It's normal for your finger size to fluctuate throughout the day due to temperature, hydration, and activity levels. Other factors such as weight changes, pregnancy, medications, or certain medical conditions can also affect your ring size.

If your finger size changes temporarily, you may find it more comfortable to wear your ring on another finger or use a temporary ring adjuster. If the change is permanent, you may wish to have your ring professionally resized, where possible.

If your finger size fluctuates regularly, we recommend choosing the size that fits comfortably when your fingers are at their largest. A removable ring adjuster can help create a snug fit on days when your ring feels slightly loose.

Should I size up for a wide band?

Often, yes. Wide bands can feel tighter than narrow rings because they cover more surface area on the finger. If the ring is 5 mm or wider, many people prefer to size up by a half size for comfort.

We use the US size for all ring sizes.

What is the difference between the US ring size and the Singapore ring size?

The primary difference between the US and Singapore ring sizing systems lies in their numerical scaling. US ring sizes are denoted in whole and half numbers, whereas Singapore ring sizes are often denoted in whole numbers but are generally larger in value.

It's essential to refer to a reliable ring size conversion chart or seek assistance from a professional jeweller to ensure an accurate conversion and a perfect fit for your ring.

Some Stonehaus rings feature an open design, allowing for a small degree of flexibility for a more comfortable fit. However, they are not designed to be manually adjusted or resized by the wearer.

We recommend choosing the size that is closest to the US sizing listed on our product page. This helps preserve the shape, structure, and craftsmanship of the piece while ensuring a comfortable fit.

Stone beaded bracelets are low maintenance by nature. Natural stone is durable, and a well made bracelet on quality cord will last for years with minimal effort. A few simple habits make the difference between a piece that ages well and one that deteriorates faster than it should.

Know your materials

Not every stone behaves the same way. Harder stones like onyx and jasper are robust and handle daily wear well. Others can be more sensitive to moisture or sudden temperature changes. The stringing cord matters too. Quality elastic or knotted cord will stretch over time with heavy daily use, which is normal and fixable rather than a reason to discard a piece you like.

Avoid activities that may damage your jewellery

Keep chemicals away

Put your bracelets on after you've finished with aftershave, cologne, or moisturiser. These products build up on stone surfaces over time and can dull the finish or weaken the cord. It's a small habit that makes a noticeable difference over months of daily wear.

The same applies to swimming pools and cleaning products. Chlorine and household chemicals are harder on natural stone and elastic than most people expect. Take them off before swimming or cleaning and they'll last considerably longer.

Clean gently

A soft dry cloth wiped over the beads after wearing removes skin oils and everyday dust before they build up. If something more stubborn needs attention, use a barely damp cloth rather than soaking the bracelet. Excess moisture works into the spaces between beads and can stretch or weaken the cord over time.

A very soft brush can help clean between beads without scratching the stone. Avoid chemical cleaners entirely. A quick wipe and dry is almost always sufficient.

Store it with care

Store each piece separately in a soft pouch, fabric-lined box, or wrapping to prevent scratches and tangling. Keep away from direct sunlight and humidity, especially bathrooms. When not worn, lay pieces flat in a cool, dry place to maintain their condition.

Stainless steel is a strong, durable, and low-maintenance material, making it a beautiful choice for everyday jewellery. It is resistant to tarnishing, rust, and corrosion, while also being gentle on most skin types.

Although stainless steel is made to last, a little care will help keep your piece looking its best for years to come.

Avoid activities that may damage your jewellery

While stainless steel is highly durable, it is not completely scratch-proof. We recommend removing your jewellery before activities where it may be pulled, caught, or knocked against hard surfaces, such as sports, heavy work, or sleeping.

For rings, we also recommend removing them before washing dishes or handling harsh chemicals to help prevent unnecessary wear.

Keep your jewellery clean

Over time, your jewellery may collect dust, oils, or everyday residue. Gently wipe your piece with a soft cloth to maintain its shine.

If deeper cleaning is needed, wash it gently with mild soap and warm water using a soft toothbrush, then rinse and dry thoroughly with a clean cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, or anything that may scratch the surface.

Store it with care

When not wearing your jewellery, store it in a dry place, preferably in a soft pouch or jewellery box. This helps prevent scratches and keeps your pieces from becoming tangled with other jewellery.

Will stainless steel jewellery rust?

Stainless steel is highly resistant to rust and tarnishing due to the chromium in the metal, which helps protect it from oxidation. This is why stainless steel is widely used for jewellery, watches, and everyday pieces.

Can I wear stainless steel jewellery to the beach, pool, or shower?

Stainless steel is water-resistant and designed for everyday wear. Occasional contact with water is generally fine, but we recommend removing your jewellery before swimming, showering, or prolonged exposure to salt water and chemicals.

After your piece comes into contact with water, simply rinse if needed and dry thoroughly with a soft cloth before storing.

How often should I clean my jewellery?

Stainless steel jewellery is naturally low-maintenance and usually only needs cleaning every few months, or whenever you notice a build-up of dust, oils, or everyday residue.

With simple care and mindful wear, your Stonehaus stainless steel piece can continue carrying its character and story for years to come.

We offer both Standard Shipping and Express Shipping through trusted courier partners, where available. For some destinations, only Priority Shipping may be offered at checkout.

Standard Shipping is the more economical option and may take longer to arrive, depending on your destination. Tracking updates can be limited and, in some cases, may stop once the parcel reaches your country. Some postal services may also redirect parcels to a local collection point or post office for pickup. If your parcel appears delayed after arriving in your country, we recommend contacting your local postal service for the latest delivery information.
International Priority Shipping offers faster delivery times and more detailed tracking throughout the journey. If you prefer quicker delivery and regular tracking updates, we recommend selecting this option at checkout.

(*Please note that once an order has been shipped, delivery is handled by the shipping provider. We'll do our best to help where possible, but Stonehaus isn't responsible for parcels that are lost, delayed, or mishandled by the shipping provider.)

Estimated delivery times are shown at checkout based on your location. Before your piece begins its journey, please allow 1–2 business days for order processing and dispatch.

We work with trusted shipping partners to deliver your order safely. Once your order is on its way, you’ll receive a shipping confirmation email containing your tracking number(#). You can use this number on the carrier’s website to track your parcel and view the latest delivery updates.

For international orders, your purchase may be subject to GST, import taxes, customs duties, or other local fees depending on your country’s regulations. These charges vary by destination, so we recommend checking with your local customs office if you’re unsure about any additional costs.

Each piece of jewellery is handmade with love and care, and I want you to be completely happy with your purchase. Please take a moment to review the policies below before purchasing.

Because each item is handcrafted and often often one-of-a-kind, I do not offer returns, exchanges or refunds for change-of-mind or sizing errors.

All sales are final.

If you've purchased a Stonehaus piece and believe there's a fault or workmanship issue, please get in touch. Every piece is handcrafted with care, and if something isn't as it should be, we'll do our best to make it right.

If your piece arrives with a craftsmanship issue (excluding damage caused during shipping, accidental damage, misuse, or normal wear and tear), please contact us within 14 days of delivery at stonehausjewellery@gmail.com, along with photos and a brief description of the issue. If the issue qualifies, we'll be happy to repair or replace the piece at no cost.

If your Stonehaus piece is damaged due to accidental damage or another issue related to your order after the 14-day window, repairs may still be possible. Each repair request will be assessed on a case-by-case basis and carried out at cost, depending on the extent of the repair.

For pieces that have been worn and loved over time, we're also happy to offer repair services where possible. As every repair is unique, pricing will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.

Please note that we only offer repairs for jewellery made by Stonehaus. Unfortunately, we're unable to repair or alter pieces created by other makers.
